Montello, Nevada is located in the Northeast part of the state near the Utah border. It is a town of about 150 people. Montello is about 150 miles from the town of Wells, Nevada (population 4,000), 100 miles from Elko (population 10,000) and about 175 miles from Salt Lake in Utah. Elko is one of the fun centers of the West. Elko is located in the beautiful mountains of Northeastern Nevada in an area noted for its good hunting and fishing.
