LITTLE BEAR
Little Bear Lake, in Otsego County, is located in one of Michigan's best deer and bird areas. It is one of the most productive black bass and pan fish lakes in all of Michigan. There's no better fishing anywhere. It is also spring fed, which means the pure water in this lake removes the fear of contamination. The lake features sandy beaches, a gently sloping sandy bottom and bright blue-green waters approximately as deep as 50 feet. It is large enough to accommodate boating and other water activities, yet small enough that it doesn't affect the area when it storms as some of the larger lakes in Michigan do. The altitude is approximately 1,400 feet above sea level creating fresh, pure and exhilarating air. Go on a hike and wind through beautiful wooded sections, giving you an excellent nature tour and study. All lots around the lake are high and dry and surrounded by a wide variety of trees.
